Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere Harvest

Type: Ale
Origin: Chico, CA
Price: $5 per pint

Considering I have never seen this before, I just had to have it. This was my final beer at the Stone Brewery, and it was a damn good one. Upon inspecting the Sierra Nevada website, I found out that they import all the hops from the south Pacific to make it in Chico. It is very reminiscent of their Pale Ale, but the hops seem more floral and fragrant. It almost has no smell on it, which is very surprising considering the taste. In the front, there is a hint of citrus, adding another dimension to the Sierra Nevada brand. Given the amazing flavors in this beer, I kinda wonder why most other southern hemisphere beer tastes like unwashed Polynesian poon.
