I always enjoy drinking here. Usually mellow, with a surprising dearth of typical PB douche-baggery. I've never been disappointed by their tasty food either. As I found out last night during game 3 of the Boston/LA basketball finals, its a good place to watch a game too. Let's talk about the beer. I really appreciate their focus: major San Diego breweries. To name a few, in no particular order of deliciousness: Stone, Ballast Point, Alesmith, Green Flash, Port. Don't worry though, you can get a Corona there if your tampon needs changing. As a trip to the pisser reveals, they host quite a few cask nights, where they tap a new release from one of those aforementioned breweries. I've also been there during a Vavi-hosted drinking contest; what a shitshow that was. I highly recommend this place, since it can seamlessly transition from relaxing to shitty, the whole time serving some quality, local brew.

Beers of the night: pale ales from Stone and Alesmith. The winner by far: Stone.
